Sunny Sandown

Beautiful day for it and some nice racing at Sandown today. The 3.25 is not a race to get overly involved with but it will certainly be one to watch with some interesting two-year-olds lining up. I will be keeping an eye on Roman Eagle (Holy Roman Emperor – Qhazeenah) as I like the look of his breeding. The sire is having a fine first season so far and the mare has produced three winners to date; a couple of bob will be invested.
The Dragon Stakes sees Zebedee dropping in grade. Richard Hannon's grey colt won his first two starts before a decent effort when fifth in the Group Two Norfolk Stakes at the Royal meeting, he will take all the beating today.
Confront has not been at his best this season so far but if coming back to form the Listed Mouton Cadet Gala Stakes should be his for the taking.
Be lucky
