Friday Update

Formosina was a bit of a disappointment to say the least, not picking up at all having looked like putting in a challenge but suddenly in trouble over a furlong from home. It might be that sprint distances are going to suit the Footstepsinthesand colt best.
Talking of sprint distances, I am never one to say told you so but……...

Having first talked of the Australian import back in May for the Duke of York Stakes, the Choisir colt has since demolished the field in the Golden Jubilee at Ascot with a bold front running display and has today put some of the best sprinters around to the sword again whilst displaying just how tough he is with a battling victory at Newmarket over Equiano.
If anyone wants me I shall be at the payout counter and then sitting at the bar in the sunshine. Fingers crossed My Lord does the business at Newbury later.
