06/05: The Mick Channon debutant Represent was slowly away in the five furlong Maiden Stakes at Ascot and found a fair bit of trouble in running but still managed a third place finish beaten only a nose and a head. By Exceed And Excel out of Craigmill she is a half sister to a number of winners and looks guaranteed to pick up a race or two this season.
16/04: You had to be impressed by the way World Domination won at Newbury. Held up but always in touch when Tom Queally gave him the shake up he made nice headway to lead on the bit over two out and quickened clear entering final furlong. The colt looks a live Derby contender.
13/04: Tell Dad put up a nice performance first time out in the Equine Products UK Conditions Stakes at Newmarket. Having joined the leaders at halfway the colt took it up over a furlong out only to appear to tire a little and was eventually beaten a head into second. The colt will come on for this race and is well worth keeping an eye out for.
01/04: Richard Hannon Jnr has stated in an interview that Dubawi Gold is being aimed toward the French 2000 Guineas. I am in no position to tell the Hannon’s what to do with their horses, but having shown a nice turn of foot to win a Listed event at Lingfield (26th March) and having form on the track (seven furlong victory as a two-year-old) I would certainly be pencilling in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot as a future target.
