Read this morning that the Gold Cup winning owner Harry Findlay has had his six-month ban from the sport overturned, his penalty has also been reduced to a £4,500 fine having been banned last month after being found guilty of two charges of laying his horse Gullible Gordon on Betfair to lose.
Laying of horses on Betfair is always going to open a big can of worms but in this instance I think the correct decision has been made, it should be remembered that the 'back' bets out weighted his 'lay' bets, and he stood to lose money if his horse lost.
